Episode 1: Helping Leaders Create Authentic and Engaging Workplaces

Are you stuck in a job or life story you despise? Through this podcast, I’d love to help you change your story into one you can be proud of and look back on with admiration and gratitude.

I’d like to share my story with you today.

I’ll start by letting you in on a fun fact about me: I’ve been talking professionally for most of my life. Yes, seriously. At the age of 12, I received my first paycheck for speaking. I was the youngest person in the Southeast to pass the FCC 3rd Class Radio Licensing Exam.

I’ve always used my words to seize opportunities and build relationships. My life has been marked by performance, from drama to comedy and everything in between. I was best known for my Steve Martin impression in high school. My diverse vocation history has given me a unique perspective on life and leadership, which I detail a bit more in this episode.

I also share with you the reason why I have started this podcastto help people change their lives and workplaces. I am passionate about helping leaders create authentic and engaging workplaces that offer their team members a more fulfilling work experience.

In this episode, you’ll hear about:

  • My stint as a hair band frontman (think Van Halen)
  • What my Myers-Briggs profile says about me
  • My unconventional high school experience
  • My unique and vast vocation history
  • How culture and collaboration impact work experience
  • Why I started this podcast and my promise to you
